bad news...

I started back to school for Fall semester this week and let’s just say my first class didn’t go quite as planned…

Class started at 6:00pm and I felt perfectly normal up until 8:30pm when I had my first ever tonic clonic grand mal seizure. It lasted a little over 12 minutes during that time another student called 911. When I woke up the paramedics were already there and my parents were on their way. It was the most bizarre feeling; I couldn’t remember my name, the month, or where I was. I couldn’t vocalize clearly and was very confused, almost having an ‘out of body’ experience. Shortly after my parents arrived and followed the ambulance to St. Marks ER where I had a blood test, CT scan, and a toxic screening (apparently they thought I was on drugs). I was released around 3am and stayed the night at my parents. The doctors are a bit concerned so I will spend tomorrow having an MRI, EEG, and other brain imaging and then clonic testing on Thursday at a brain clinic and finally an appointment to review everything with a neurologist. It might have been caused by a medication I was taking but other than that there are no obvious causes so the test might be able to provide more answers.

I am so lucky I had my parents support and for having access to health care. I’m grateful I was in a classroom and not alone although I am mortified and embarrassed to go back to class because my professor, who called to check on me, said it was pretty violent and convulsive. I had my driver’s license revoked at the hospital and I am also not allowed to take baths or swim which really puts a damper on my nightly before bed bath.

things i LOVE...

i have lots of things in my life to be thankful for, things i LOVE. here are just a few...


1- i love my mya. seriously, who would have thought? i have always claimed that i HATE cats but for my birthday i got a very sassy and dainty siamese kitten. she is very naughty and expensive but i love her so much.
2- i love my sister and the utes, which go hand and hand together. abby is my best friend and always puts me in my place when i complain. she makes me laugh so hard! utah football has made me realize why boys love sports so much, im really looking forward to going to vegas for the game in october.
3- this one isnt much of a shocker, i love my bambinos. especially when they are babies!
4- this one i need to say more but i really love robb. even though i vent about living apart often i am so lucky to spend the time we do with each other. he is the funniest, most caring, and genuine person i know.
he always surprises me with flowers, breakfast, and the most recent day spa visit! love you puffin!
oh one more thing i love....that i dont have to take the *&@# real estate classes anymore. i finished my hours and past the test. whew! glad that is over, time to really enjoy summer.

i just got home from another fun vegas trip, good times. besides the fact that my suitcase was randomly put in another plane and didnt come until late tonight. it was really great weather and so nice to spend lots of alone time with robb, he even snuck out to the store and bought me flowers and my favorite breakfast foods. im so LUCKY!

the rest of the pics are from a BBQ chad a kelli had a few weeks ago, it was a BLAST! i have realized that my siblings are our (robb and mine) best friends. it seems like whenever we have free time we always end up with that fam.

the boys! hmmm. shooter made these huge shrimps and they were a hit. i would be a miracle to get a decent pic of all them together, im not even going to try anymore.
she seriously has me wrapped around that little finger, it must be our crazy hair that unites us.

Oh Max, poor kid! Max had surgery today and although things went well, it is really taking a toll on him. The TOUGH little guy rarely cries so to see those crocodile tears is a dagger in the heart. I wish he could have just understood what was going to happen but instead woke up after surgery in a world of pain and confusion.

a blur of 2 weeks...

the last two weeks have been a BLUR, i had some problems with closing on my condo and ending up flying to vegas to visit robb on 2 days notice. its was a fun and very relaxing trip. we went golfing at sunset on a beautiful course with hundreds of bunnies running around and also went to breakfast at cheesecake factory which was AMAZING!



im all moved in and settled except for a little plumbing issue, no hot water in the shower. good thing im close close to my parents. abbys husband and robb had a little romantic golf weekend in st. george so i had abby, carden, max, and oliver over for sunday dinner. its was my first time cooking in my new place and really helped make it feel like my home.

im going to be a homeowner?!

so many changes have happened lately...first i bought a condo! so scary, fun, stressful, exciting, and surreal. im staying in the millcreek area and will have an extra room for sleepovers with the nephews! i just cant wait to be moved in, actually any help offers? my plan is to move slowly next week and then find some help or hire movers to come on thursday or friday night? the pic of the couch below is the couch i have now and am trying to sell, if you know anyone give them my contact info...thanks!

i went to trappers a few weekends ago with the family, i cant believe how big and fun the boys are getting, they all went on the ifly indoor skydiving! they have all become my little friends, im such a sucker for those baby blues.


when robb was in town for his spring break we went to dinner with abby and alan, they are always so fun to be with!
